In Istanbul, the CEO of STEM Analytical Center Orkhan Yolchuev had a meeting with Mr. Turgut Erkeskin, Chairman of the Board of the Association of International Transport and Logistics Operators (UTIKAD).
During the meeting partners discussed key transport and logistics projects of Turkey and region itself, as well as current trends in the development of international transport corridors.
Special attention was paid to the Middle Corridor (Trans-Caspian International Transport Route) and issues of increasing its efficiency and competitiveness. In this context, parties noticed strategic importance of the railway Baku-Tbilisi-Kars and Zangezur corridor as a key element of regional connection and safe transport development.
In conclusion of a meeting, members acknowledged commitment to working together to develop modern, efficient and secure logistics networks connecting Turkey with neighboring countries and partners in the Eurasian region.
