STEM is an independent analytical center in the field of national and international politics, economics, law, social sciences and security. The center's activities are primarily aimed at satisfying the public's needs for impartial information on current issues in the post-Soviet space. The center's goals and objectives include assessing and analyzing information, developing practical recommendations for socio-political organizations, expert communities, mass media, and scientific circles to provide them with high-quality analytics.

Among other things, STEM organizes training programs, internships, courses and conferences at the national and international level. The center is also open for cooperation with scientists, postgraduates, students engaged in research in the field of international relations, economics, history and ethnography.
