Today we had the pleasure of hosting Bekhzod Kozakov, Deputy Head of the Political & Public Diplomacy Section at the British Embassy in Uzbekistan, for a high-level discussion on Central Asia’s strategic future, regional connectivity, and the emerging C6 diplomatic format.
Uzbekistan is a cornerstone of our work at STEM — a close, fraternal partner to Azerbaijan and a key driver of the region’s future. Over the past year, we have strengthened this partnership through formal agreements, joint research, and ongoing expert collaboration.

A key focus was the C6 format, which brings Azerbaijan and Central Asia into a shared political, economic, and civilizational space — one of the most important geopolitical shifts of this year.
We also discussed the Middle Corridor, now the main engine of regional transformation — not just a trade route, but a strategic artery linking East and West.
Building a common labor market, integrated economy, and modern logistics is essential to unlocking Uzbekistan’s window of opportunity in the global system.
STEM looks forward to deepening cooperation with Uzbek and international partners to support a more connected, prosperous, and stable Central Eurasia.
