The STEM Analytical Center hosted an international conference titled “Middle Corridor: Realities and Prospects,” where leading experts, political scientists, and analysts discussed key issues concerning the development of the strategic transport route connecting Europe and Asia.
The event was moderated by STEM Director Orkhan Yolchuyev, who guided dynamic discussions and facilitated the search for innovative solutions to optimize and expand the potential of the Middle Corridor. The conference served as a unique platform for exchanging ideas and analyzing prospects for the further development of this vital route.
Key topics included regional politics and economic cooperation in the South Caucasus. Participants focused on Azerbaijani-Georgian economic projects, which form the backbone of the Middle Corridor, and examined the impact of transport routes on the economic development of regional states.
Significant attention was given to the issues of external influence on the security of transport communications, the effectiveness of utilizing transport tools for developing the East-West corridor, and the prospects for integrating the North-South and East-West projects.
