Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has called for accelerating the development of the Trans-Kazakhstan Railway Corridor to further advance the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).

The President emphasized that the transit potential is a huge advantage for Kazakhstan in international competition and should be fully and effectively utilized.

"It is necessary to speed up the development of the Trans-Kazakhstan Railway Corridor, which will become a key link in the Trans-Caspian route. Some important projects in this direction are being implemented, but further work is needed for the future," said Tokayev.

He also highlighted the importance of timely implementation of projects related to the digitalization of railway transportation. "Focus should be placed on the development of multimodal transport hubs, which allow the integration of all types of transport. The current and next years should be breakthrough years in this direction," he added.
